# QR code with a logo

Canonical HTML: https://scanmelon.com/en/qr-code-with-logo

A recognizable mark in the center makes the code yours. That is allowed as long as scanners still see enough of the pattern. Scanmelon keeps a light zone in the middle for that.

## Why a logo works

QR codes include error correction. A small, calm icon in the center is fine. People recognize the brand before they scan, which helps on posters and packaging.

## File and size

Upload PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP, preferably under 2 MB. A simple pictogram or wordmark on a transparent background reads cleaner than a busy photo. Keep the logo smaller than the free zone: too large and the camera misses modules.

## Color and contrast

Dark modules on a light background remain the safe choice. A bright brand color is fine if contrast stays high. Always test on a real phone, including dim light. Steps: https://scanmelon.com/create-qr-code.md. Upload in the generator: https://scanmelon.com/.
